Elsie and family: I am so sorry to hear about LLoyd and sorry that I couldn't come up for the funeral. Finances are a problem. I don't know whether he was ill for a while or not but know that he will be happy to see his Saviour's face in heaven. It will be a big empty space for you as you were very close and did things together. I have lots of memories of our times in the quartet and was just thinking that I am the only singing part of it left. Of course, Lillian is still with us here, so they will all have to wait in heaven for us to arrive for us all to get together again. I trust that your health is still good and that you can get around OK. This getting old is not for me. I will be 73 this year and I feel every year of it. I know you have had many health problems in the past so I trust that they have been sorted out or that you have found a way to deal with them May God truly bless you and your family as you learn to deal with the loss of your husband and father, grandfather etc.. Heather, I am so very sorry to hear your Dad has passed away. With his quiet sense of humour, he was a true gentleman. I always enjoyed talking to him wherever/whenever I saw him. It brought tears to my eyes listening to him singing songs on the album “In Honour of Hymn”. I know you miss him deeply. That will never change. He was a good man and I know he’s been welcomed with open arms. Love Shannon
