My Dearest Jackie and Mark & Scott - Upon my most recent return to Canada - I have just learned of Ron’s passing - and am in shock at losing beautiful Lynn in 2015. Jackie - you and Ron were such a huge and generous part of my life on Ennismore Place. I have never forgotten those wonderful times. Ron was probably the most influential person in my development as an adolescent and hockey player. My late parents loved Ron and you Jackie as a son and daughter. I shall always treasure our great times together. May Eternal Rest Grant Unto RON O Lord, and May Perpetual Light Shine Upon Him and Lynn. Love. Peter Shoniker

Gump was my oldest and dearest friend. I know he is now in heaven watching over his beloved family and grandchildren. I also know how proud he was of Mark and Scott. Ron was someone I always looked up to. He was the brother I wish I had. Gump will be missed but certainly not forgotten.

mark and i wanted to express how sorry we were to hear of ron's passing unfortunately we found out too late to make it to the service or we most certainly would have attended
ron was not only a great boss he was a friend and will be greatly missed
30 years ago next week you helped celebrate mark's and my wedding you both made our special day all the more special
