Strome, Martha Elisa (nee Dejonghe)

Passed away peacefully at Leacock Care Center in Orillia on Tuesday  October 16^th 2018 in her 98^th  year. Loving mother of Roger (Linda), Andrew( Sue), Vincent, Lorraine Gabrielson (Earl- Predeceased) and Sue Hammond. Dear grandmother to Jeff, Matthew, Lucas (Sara), April( Dan) Shawn (Janelle), Adam, Aaron, Jenny (Andy) and Jackie. Great grandmother of Emma, Carliegh, Barclay Calista and Kaebrie. Predeceased by her brother John Dejonghe and his wife Anna.  The family would like to offer a special thank you to the all the staff at Leacock Care Center for their excellent care and compassion.

Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street E., Orillia on Sunday October 21^st from 1:00 until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will take place at Saint Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Simcoe.  Memorial donations to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan, The North Country Baptist Children’s Home or to the Trinitarian Bible Society through the Simcoe Funeral Home would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.simcoefuneralhome.ca
