Chris and David,
I often wonder what would have become of me if not for the generosity of my friends and their parents. Yours fed me, sheltered me, and cared for me when my own would not be bothered. Your home was a refuge for me, and your mother a kind and patient soul who knew most of my secrets and didn't judge me, or shun me for them. I am happy I was able to thank her for this, when I last saw her at your wedding, Dave. She will forever be in my heart, as are you both, and your beautiful families.
