Peter Stephen James
After a long and courageous battle with cancer, this warrior peacefully passed away at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Monday November 12th, 2018 in his 63rd year. Known for his crazy antics and sense of fun, Peter could turn the ordinary into an adventure! A talented singer, skilled mason, gifted athlete and a believer in all things “weird and wonderful”, Peter will be sadly missed. Our lives will be a little less exciting without him. Peter loved his Lord, his girls and his family. Beloved son of Betty and the late Stephen James. Loving father of Julie Denomme and Stephanie James. Proud grandfather of Felix Denomme. Dear brother of Judy Maddox (Barry), Joanne Gauthier (Ray), and Jennifer Keating (Richard). Adored uncle of Nathan (Annalisa), Devin, Drew, Chloe, Tim, and Laura; great uncle of Jasper and Tallulah. A Celebration of Peter’s life will be held at the Simcoe funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Saturday November 24th, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow.
