I was very saddened to hear of the passing of so wonderful a person as Yvonne. I had the privilege of working with her in nursing for most of my career. She would come out to our retirees luncheons each month in her usual spunky manner and keep us updated on her many nieces and nephews of whom she was very proud.

What a dear and truly wonderful friend Yvonne became after I entered her orbit way back in ’92. Ever kind and generous with her time and encouragement she brought light and laughter to each meeting, tea break and shift we worked. So grateful for all the memories of this classy, precious woman.
May her winged flight be full of love and may she be received gently into the light.

I was saddened to learn of Yvonne's passing. We shared an apartment during her time in Englehart. I enjoyed Yvonne's company and friendship. She was always so well informed about things happening in her world and the larger world and she had the ability to articulate so well. Late night, after shift discussions were the best! She was funny, caring and I know she was a skilled and compassionate nurse. I'm sorry I lost contact with her after her move from here. I thought of her often and always thought as I passed Orillia on my way down south, that I should stop and say hello. My sympathies to you all. I know she will be missed.

I knew Yvonne during my years as a family physician at Soldiers' Hospital. She was highly respected for her skills and compassion, and loved for her positive attitude and friendly approach to all she met. I'm sure she provided great comfort and support to patients and colleagues alike during her long and honorable career.

Dear Evan and family. I'm sure you won't remember me but I had the privilege of working with Yvonne at the Englehart and District Hospital in the early '70s. I was also able to reconnect with her at an alumnae dinner in 2016. I always held Yvonne in high regard and I'm sure she will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.Sincere condolences to you all.

We share in the loss of Yvonne, but understand that she is needed elsewhere now. Jack and I felt that Yvonne was part of our extended family. I so enjoyed having deep discussions with her about political and world events. When Yvonne was present, there was always a sense of comfort and peace surrounding her.
