Darren, Cole and Family,
It has been many years since we have moved from Petawawa. One thing for sure, we are grateful that we have met Jodie as part of our journey. She was a kind hearted, funny, special person and a great friend. One of my memories is that she loved sunflower. Now, everytime I see a sunflower and I will always think of her. You will be missed and never forgotten. Rest In Peace.

Darren and Cole,
Please know how much our hearts break for you and Cole. We all consider our selves so lucky to have had our paths cross and families connect at French Lake. The adventures had and memories made will be cherished always.

We were very sorry to hear about the passing of Cole’s mom. We are all part of Cole’s grade 7/8 class at Herman Street Public School.
Cole is new to our class this year but we have come to truly appreciate his quirky sense of humour and ethusiasm for life. He is always kind and putting the feelings of others before himself and this shows what a loving family he comes from.
We know that things are going to be tough for Cole and his family but we look forward to having him back in our class. We will be here to support him in any way we can.

I can not believe Jodie lost her battle and Heaven gained another Angel
I worked with Jodie for quite a few years and she kept me laughing.
Work was always more fun when Jodie was on shift.. Darren and Cole and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you . Jodie was a light that shone bright and she made everyone she knew feel like you were part of her extended family, A heart of gold. She fought the fight and sadly lost to cancer :( I will do something kind in her honor.. Jodie you truly were an inspiration to us all and will truly be missed.

I am so sorry words do not convey how I feel. I worked with Jodie for several years and took to her right away... she was smart as a whip and funny and loving. I will miss her a lot.
