At the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Wednesday January 23rd 2019 in his 63rd year.  Jim Groves of Orillia, beloved partner of Joanne Stobbs.   Much loved father of Brittani-predeceased, Chelsie Groves (Ryan Bridge), Shelby Stock (Ryan) and Samuel Groves (Kelly).  Loving grandfather of Hayley.   Dear brother of Rodney (Anita), Donald (Nadine), Dan and Elizabeth Groves.  Loving uncle to Chris, Amanda, Vicky, Jessica and Amelia.  A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at the Swanmore Hall at Leacock Museum- 50 Museum Drive Orillia on Saturday February 2 between 1-3pm. Memorial donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital or Wheels of Hope c/o The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and will be received by the Simcoe Funeral Home- 38 James Street East Orillia.
