Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Friday April 26th, 2019 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Iris (nee Ciphery) for 54 years. Loving father of Catherine McMillan. Proud grandfather of Tatiana, and Liam. Dear brother of Vera Wallace, Mary Grigg (Chuck)-both deceased, Anne Burton (John-deceased), Joe McMillan (Sharon-deceased), Loretta McLean (Ron), Alex McMillan, Kenny McMillan-deceased, Pat McMillan (Margaret), and Charlie McMillan. John will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E Orillia on Monday April 29th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 6:45 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held at Saint Collumbkille Catholic Church, 4993 Highway 12 Ramara on Tuesday April 30th 2019 at 12:00 p.m. Spring interment, St. Joseph’s Cemetery (Black River), Ramara.
