Our dearest Dougie. One of the classiest ladies we were very lucky to have had in our lives, and have as a good friend. Brian and I will miss your amazing stories, the positivity and generosity you conveyed everytime we were together. We will miss your joy, your light and your time. First I want to say our sincerest condolences to Jill and Andrew. Dougie was an amazing woman, and full of wonderful stories. My partner Chris and I spent many happy times with Dougie, and would visit for hours. The door was always open, and the hospitality a plenty. How we loved to hear about amazing trips, her life before we knew her, and of course the love of her family and her grandchildren. Dougie will always hold a special place in our hearts, and the memories will never dim. She had an amazing life, and was such an independent person. The stories I could leave here would take up so much space, and I wish I could tell them all. We will miss her very much, but at the same token, are so happy that this wonderful lady was a part of our lives. Be at peace now dear friend, and until we meet again.
