I miss you more and more, every day that passes mom. I miss your texts asking me to pick up things on the way home for dinner, helping you with dinner, family movie nights, racing home to see how you were doing, good or bad, and talking to you when I get home from work. I was always home ASAP, and tried to spend every (every reasonable) minute with you I could. I hope you made it to heaven, and hope you still come to the family home here to visit us. I love you mom and wish I could text you and tell you random things throughout the day and see you when I come home.
Sincerely, your son, Adam.

A condolence just isn't enough to say what I'm feeling right now. On one hand I'm so very thankful Karen and I had been in touch so often lately. We got each other with all the health issues. We had planned a get together but unfortunately health issues are exactly what got in the way.
My heart goes out to you all...Kevin, Adam, Amanda. You have always been such a tight loving family. Karen always said back in the day she never worried cause she knew Kevin would always take care of the family. Kevin you allowed Karen to feel safe and secure through some of the most difficult times. Adam grew up to make mom proud and be a hard working man and a loving caring son. Amanda gave Karen a reason to fight being her little girl. A daughter to nurture, love and protect. I love you all so much and have always had so much respect for you Kevin. To me you are the perfect husband.
To the Marr side...Donny, who I call my friend also. Someone I meant through Karen. She just introduced herself to me one day and that was it..We'd be friends for life.To my church bro Wayne(aka Wanie) and the one sis i didn't get to meet Lucy, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. And to Karen's mom, Charlotte....I remember her as Pasty because Karen's dad Wayne always called her that. Being a mom who just lost her daughter, I can't even imagine. Karen spoke of the many times you were a Godsend to her.
I will miss my friend. While she was with us, she was bigger than life. There was always something to talk about with Karen, laugh about. Regular days were never dull. Here she was married, with one child back then and me being single still loved being with her and the family too. You were made to feel part of the family in fact. Those well lit well decorated christmas trees with a room full of presents...Karent made the most of everything.
I've literally cried every night after Gord goes to sleep since i heard. I'm sad cause I didn't get to see you again...and I so badly hoped i could. Im sad cause I can't make it to the funeral. I hope you know my heart is with you all. If I had a way, I would be there. I"m so sorry.
Jane aka Janie Paynie & Gord.
