I am so happy Sarah got a chance to get to know Oma. Sarah thinks the world of Oma and loved to discover the wonderful lady who was such an important part of Jonh’s life. I feel very blessed to have had a chance to meet her even if it was only once. I know how excited she was to be a part of Jonh and Sarah’s engagement. My heart is with you all at this difficult time!

I met Joanne when I arrived at Hillcrest on December 19. I knew no one and not terribly happy about being in a Nursing Home but Joanne welcomed me, making me feel at home and comfortable. She was great company and I looked forward to our talks. She was always happy, very knowledgeable and we became great friends. I will truly miss her. She was a wonderful person and I’ll glad I did get to know her even it was for only a few months.
