A chance meeting on a city bus in Manzanillo Mexico turned into a 14 year friendship with Don and Marion.
We spent quality time together exploring parts of Mexico and its culture. He made the assent to see the Monarch Butterflies in Morelia after which we dubbed him “Sir Edmund Hillary” the 2nd.
Don was the consummate gentleman. He valued dearly his friends and was always thoughtful of those around him.
He will be sadly missed as he leaves us with fond and happy memories.
We share your family’s sorrow and loss.

I was saddened to find the news of Donald's passing, just as I was about to make contact with him through the MyHeritage website. My thoughts are with you. Donald and I shared the same ancestral links to Birkenhead in Cheshire, England and this proven by our mutual DNA tests.
I apologise for intrusion into your lives at such a sorrowful time for you, but in case any one in the family would like to follow through Donald's ancestry, and his link to me, I'd be happy to share details of the link and password to my tree. At this stage, I have taken the liberty of adding Donald's photo from the obituary site onto my tree, but if in doing so, I offend, please let me know and I will remove it immediately.
Kind Regards Dave
