Nangle: Sylvia Geraldine ( nee Johnson)
Went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus on Saturday September 21st, 2019 in her 78th year with her son by her side. Much loved mommy of Richard Nangle. Beloved daughter of the late Elmer and Irene Johnson. Loved sister of Audrey Cripps – predeceased, Carolyn Stevenson (Doug) and Ron Johnson (Linda). Loving Aunt to Glenn (Karen - predeceased), Barbara-Dale (Len), Michael (Inez), Nicole (Jason), Lauren and Andrew. Sylvia will always be loved by Gordon Nangle, her many friends and family. Sylvia enjoyed a successful career in Nursing at the Etobicoke General Hospital as head nurse of their Labor and Delivery department and then as a Surgical Nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She enjoyed her volunteer work at Living for Jesus in the clothing area with her good friend Jean Anne, as well as her time at the Lighthouse Shelter where she worked in the laundry department. She also liked spending time reading at the library and her workouts at the YMCA. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle, 375 Westmount Drive N. Orillia on Saturday September 28th, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service to Celebrate Sylvia’s Life at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ardtrea United Church, Calvary Pentecostal Church, and The Lighthouse Shelter or to Living for Jesus through the Simcoe Funeral Home Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E.
