Lamont, Blakely Donald (Don)
Passed away peacefully at Champlain Manor on Monday, September 23rd, 2019 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Anne (nee Speiran) for more than 63 years. Much loved father to Robert (Pamela), Ian (Linda) and Mary-Anne Herrema (Ron). Dear Grandpa of Megan (David Carter), Sean (Sarah DeGeorge), Katie (Kevin Schuette), Josiah, Jeannette (Brandon Ehinger), and Cameron Herrema.
Brother to Yvonne and John, and predeceased by brothers Jim, Doug and Norman.
Visitation will be held at Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East, Orillia on Friday, September 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service under the auspices of the Three Pillars Masonic Lodge #192 will be held at 6:45 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Orillia Presbyterian Church (St. Andrew’s), 99 Peter Street N., Orillia on Saturday, September 28th at 11:00 a.m. with reception to follow. Private family interment at St. Andrew’s-St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Orillia Presbyterian Church (St. Andrew’s) or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
