Passed away at the Leacock Retirement Lodge, Orillia on Tuesday October 8th 2019 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Jacques Cornellier. Loving mother of Gabrielle Hart, Andre Cornellier (Anne), and Christine Curran (Alan). Cherished grandmother of Alison (Pat), Paul (Rosalind), Mary, Colin, Hannah, and great grandmother of Calvin, and Audrey. Dear sister of Geli, Traudi, Gerd, Gunter, Rolli, Klaus all of Germany; predeceased siblings Inge, Kurt, and Hans. Edith will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Edith’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street East Orillia on Thursday October 17th, 2019 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Edith will join her husband Jacques in a private interment of ashes at CFB Borden.
