Margaret was my vocal coach for many years and, also my sister and brother worked with her also(David and Shirley) while we were in the South Simcoe Theatre many years ago. Seems like ages ago. As a teacher she was very patient with me. Thank you Margaret. My condolences to Jae and, family from Norah Miles, Dave Miles and Shirley Craven Miles.

Margaret was a wonderful person,singer and teacher.I am very sad today. We shared many years together. She was one of my lifelong friends. My heartfelt condolences to her family and many friends.

Dear Jae and Family On behalf of my parents ..Charles and Mildred McKerroll.....Charles is currently in hosp and Mildred is deceased....as a family we send our sincere condolences. Your dear parents were good friends of Charles and Mildred ......and I believe they picked up your mom for Sunday church and sat together. In speaking with my father in hosp today....he had the kindest and most memorable thoughts of your parents. I myself did not know Margaret was so accomplished with her music ......but I remember seeing your father yrs ago in a tv commercial for Schneider’s ....what an amazing talent for the arts both your parents shared. I am very saddened to hear of Margaret’s passing. Margaret was a wonderful teacher and vocal coach. I have many fond memories of both Margaret and Guilio with Opera Barrie and with their guidance I was able to start up the Barrie Opera Guild which is now the Barrie Opera Society. Thanks to both Giulio and Margaret I was able to sing the part of First Lady in the Magic Flute in Barrie which was a true musical highlight for me ! They had a love of opera and had so much talent and world wide experiences to share with all who knew them . My deepest condolences to Jae and Gerald and family. Rest In Peace Margaret. You will be forever remembered and missed. Marie Fisher
