Dougie will always be remembered as an important, fun-loving part of our family. His personality was larger than life and his laugh filled the room. I am Dougie's aunt Carol. I remember so many wonderful qualities in Dougie. He was generous in helping others, his parents around the house , a talented carpenter ,sanding floors etc. I remember him helping Mike and I when we moved to Hillsdale bringing furniture and staying to do other chores. He became an excellent electrician. He loved kids especially playing with them and teasing them, his niece Taryn and nephew Connor who loved Uncle Dougie. He faced challenges in life ,conquered some of them but was not able to beat the disease of addiction. He is now at peace and is with the God of his understanding. Your are now free Dougie.
