Ross, loved life and if he ever started telling you a story you soon new it was going to take awhile as he loved sharing all the details.Sometimes too much detail..., but you always new that if you shared something with him of importance to you, he remembered it in detail and sometimes better then you. If it was an item for prayer you knew it got prayed about because sometime in your future conversations he would ask how 'IT' was going. Sometimes I had forgot I had shared that item with him. Faithful to those within his circle of care and even more faithful in being true to God's word.
He loved music from as early as 4 and 5 years of age he shared stories of how God had touched his young heart and moved it to tears of joy over God's love for Him. That deep appreciation for music led him to become a very accomplished trumpet player and he used that in ministry.
Ross also loved cars and if you got him going it was hard to change topics for sure. But that love too was coupled to his love for God and if he was at the track or car show he was
always there to share God's word and God's love and the lives he touched came to respect him for that. For all this and so much more thank you God for the blessing of my Uncle...

Condolences to the family. First met Ross when we worked 32 Div in the early 1980's.Also as members of the F.C.P.O. in the formative years of the Toronto chapter. As a very young Christian back then, I was amazed at Ross's unwavering faith and consistency as a police officer and a Christian. He and Jan were an inspiration to me and my wife in those years before we both left the force. Didn't always agree, but learned much from him and Jan. May you all be blessed at this time.
