10 years ago Woody came into my restaurant at Rama at 1130 every day and sat quietly at the same table sipping his beer after his early shift. Every day we talked a little more and we quickly became the greatest of friends. He knew when something was up and always had some good advise, a brownie, banana bread, donut or a pemeal on a bun to cheer me up when I was down. He even knew I was pregnant before my husband and I told our families because he knew something big was on on my mind the morning after we found out. He was so excited that he bought us a little pair of baby moccasins that we will cherish forever! The time between our meetings became greater during recent years, but my last visit to him was just like old times, him sipping his beer with Donald by his side and telling me amazing stories and giving his wise advise. I am going to miss Woody so much and my heart aches for Sharon, his family and the whole Rama community with his terrible loss, he was one of the kindest, funniest and most generous people i know and I am so lucky I had the pleasure of calling him my friend
