Steve was a character and an amazingly devoted father and advocate for Ayden and Alex. Condolences to his entire family.
Steve was always able to joke and laugh no matter what was going on and he found passion in taking care of the boys, in cooking, and of course in Music. Music and a love for guitars is how we met. I was looking for someone who was able to add some theory to my musical endeavours. We soon became friends and had a lot of laughs along the way. A couple of beers, or a dinner, or playing a few tunes, going to jam sessions together. We even tried to work on a duet or trio but the boys always came first We further had a mutual love of 2 wheels and managed to get in a few motorcycle rides on the rare occasions there was someone to look after the boys.
I will miss my dear friend and tonight when I pick up a guitar I will sing a song for him. Rest well Steve, gone too soon

Steven was a vigilant and devoted dad. He loved his singing and making music with his guitar. We have many great memories of him since he was quite young. Many good times of listening to him sing and play. Doug recalls when he sang at his dad's service, and was always impressed with the joy and peace it brought everyone that day. I was Steve's cousin and babysitter for many years. We had a special bond as he wouldn't allow anyone else to stay with him. He had that same bond with his kids. Steve, you will always be in our thoughts and hearts. We know that you are up there teaching the big guy guitar. Rest in peace knowing that you will be with Memere and Pepere and your dad.

Thinking of you...I have so many memories of Steve and Charlie... together they were trouble with a capital T. Steve's smile will never be forgotten. I've been looking for a picture of all of us in grandad's back yard. I love it. Xo
