Amber Peel posted a condolence
Sunday, June 2, 2024
Hi Mr Hirlehey, my name is Amber we met many moons ago at Fair Havens. At that time my life was a mess and I was struggling more then anyone could know. Your wife was my life vest. She helped me through very dark times including a custody battle. I felt I was very isolated. We were blessed that a few church families continued to support us, but there were alot of people at church, even those we knew for years, that had distanced themselves from my family and I including the Pastor at the time Rob, as I was an unwed mother. When Pastor Rob left, and Pastor John took over, he introduced me to Anne. They both seemed to make it their mission to protect me and provide us with unconditional love at church, our home, even in court. You both helped with my daughter Terryn and your wife helped me care for my dad who had ALS. We lost touch when both your family and mine left Fair Havens. I'd tried over the years to find you guys but we didn't have regular access to social media and as dad got worse my time was occupied. I was also spelling your name wrong so it seems. I had no idea Anne was ill and I'm devastated to find out it was ALS. When dad was diagnosed we had almost no idea what it was nor knew anyone with it. To find it took the life of another loved one hurts my soul. I'm so sorry for your loss. Anne was a rare precious jewel that's very soul spread God's love by simply being near her. Her love and devotion has no wall or boundaries and lives on through every person she touched. Having lost my dad and having experience the horror of the disease, I pray God eased any pain or suffering for Anne and your family. Your all in our thoughts and prayers. I know she's in heaven with our savior and my dad and they are watching over us all. I couldn't help sharing with you and I'm sorry it's late. I just found out by accident while looking for something else and am still shocked. Again, our love and prays are with you all and Anne's legacy will continue through us all Take Care, love Amber, Evelyn and Terryn Peel

To Dave and family, our family sends deepest sympathy at the loss of your dear wife, mom and grandma. We were so privileged to to have met and shared time with Annie. As I read these tributes I realize how much she meant to so many people but I'm not surprised. She was a truly generous, kind, feisty, funny and joyful human being. On a personal level, even through her own challenges, she encouraged me as I dealt with health issues. I'll always hold that dear and be inspired by her memory. Love and Blessings to you all.

To David and the entire family, and to those who knew and loved Annie.
May her memory inspire us to face everything in life with courage and grace. May the love of family and sweet memories of life past bring comfort. Annie gave much - she embraced life with a passion. She knew the joy of enjoying small things, and she always had a sense of humour to share. Truly missed, Annie is now at peace in the arms of the Almighty. Michael and Linda Frederiksen

So sorry for the family's loss of a dear mother and spouse. Anne had such a passion for life and for her family. She was filled with so much love and care for those the LORD brought across her and Dave's path. The LORD truly lived his life through her and now she is in his presence pain-free. Remembering all of you in my prayers...see you at the gate, wee Annie, in God's time.

I had a prevlage to meet Annie on July 23/2020 at Fair Haven's camp ground.
I saw a joy in her spirit i approached her and we talked.
We talked about Jesus her family , and her good friend Melady how she moved close to the camp that year and her joy to share with me her boy who is 30 found a good girl. I can't forget her happiness in her face and i took a photo with the promise to pray for them. She was so greatful for her husband David who was fixing their trailer that day. I never meet a content joyful and happy Godly woman.
She invited me for her August testimony and before she let me go she asked me if we sing Shine Jesus shine. I did not know the song but i put it on youtube and we both sang.
Now Annie is shinning and dancing before her Lord without any limitation. She left us with a big unforgettable lesson no matter what we go through Jesus is our Lord. Our peace is not based on our circumstances but from what is within us.
As her memory I will keep the little blanket she created to help others affected with this disease.she will always be my sunshine and my prayer is God to comfort her beautiful family.

I had the privilege of being asked to take photos at this particular Ladies' Tea last summer at Fair Havens. Anne's story was being read while the ladies sipped tea under the shady trees. What a blessing it was to hear her life journey of God's faithfulness as well as Anne's faithfulness in keeping God close to her no matter what her circumstances. She blessed so many. She deeply loved her husband, her children and her friends. Annie- I loved hanging out with you, catching the odd right with you in your golf cart and listen to you talk about whatever. I will miss you. -Mary
