I had the honor and pleasure of working with Kenny in his later years in mostly bars, he was a fantastic trainer and mentor. He taught me much that I could not and would not have learned anywhere else. Rest in piece old friend, I shall see you on the other side. Save a spot for me.

I met Ken from the Lorraine Drive neighbourhood we hung out in during the late 1960's and also from Northview Heights Secondary School where he excelled at wrestling. I kept up my friendship with Ken after our school was out with swims in his backyard pool, working out at the gym in Thornhill and watching some of his Kick Boxing bouts sponsored by Twin Dragons in Toronto. Ken always enjoyed friends visiting especially for Family events including his marriage which seems so long ago now. When we would meet from time to time he always had that smile and a genuine care in his greeting. Part of my Willowdale is gone now. Rest in Peace Ken.

Dear Barbara and Kaye, I was so saddened to hear of Ken's passing. Though I hadn't seen him in 45 years, I thought of him fondly and hoped he was following his dreams and having a good life. We went to school together and dated in grade 10. He brought me a pair of gold earrings for my sixteenth birthday, even though we had already broken up. He had a sweet side many didn't see.
My condolences to you and all of your family.

Many years I knew Ken. Right from Edithvale Dr P.S. to Northview Heights S.S. We dated for a few months in high school. A few years later I paid him a surprise visit when he was working at the "Lap" and we shared some memories. I have lost a little piece of my heart knowing he is gone. I will remember him fondly. <3 Carol (Webb) Embury

I met Kenny when I was in grade 10 and he was always an extremely nice guy with a good sense of humour. I'm pleased to have dropped by his home in Willowdale about 15-years ago for a visit which is the last time I saw him. You're in safe hands now my old friend. God Bless.

So many memories of Ken. He used to come pick me up for training at my home in Barrie and in his best imitation of Dennis the Menace voice out to me “Oh Mr. Wilson” before entering my home. I suppose he always knew what he had in store for training was somewhat mischievous.
