Obituary of Richard Scriver

Passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie in his 52nd year. Beloved husband of Sherry (nee Gibbons). Proud father of Desiree (Thomas Parsons), Lucas, and Cassie (Kyle Byers). Cherished poppa of Madison and Alexa. Dear son of the late Marion Andrews, and the late Bartley Scriver. Loving brother of Buck (Barb), Linda, and Barbara (Monty). Rick will be fondly remembered by his family and many friends. Rick's family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Robert El-Maraghi and the staff of the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre for their compassionate care. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Friday, December 21st from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
