Obituary of Alan Richard Malloch

Loving and dearly loved husband of Irene, a loving and much loved dad and step-dad to Dale (predeceased), Audra (Derrick), Glen (Cathy), Debbie (Jacques) Jacqui (Stephen), and Kenny (Lesley). A loving and proud grandpa, papa, and great-grandpa. Alan will be missed by his sister Mollie and her husband Larry, sisters-in-law, Joyce (Bud - predeceased), Pat (Rich), Linda (Lynn - predeceased), sister-in-law Frances and her husband Charles and many other family members and friends both here and in Scotland. Grateful thanks to all the many doctors and nurses and PSWs who cared for Alan over these past years, especially Dr Frances Wright (Sunnybrook) for her amazing care, compassion and friendship, Dr Yu and staff at RVH, Dr. Nemat Daraei our wonderful, caring, dedicated family doctor and staff from Bayshore, Paramed, Care partners, Couchiching Palliative Care Team and the fantastic staff at Mariposa House Hospice. Also, special thanks to Rev Linda Patton - Cowie for her wonderful support, caring and friendship to us all and to all our St Mark’s family for all their prayers, support and kindness. “And He will raise you up on eagles' wings, Bear you on the breath of dawn Make you to shine like the sun, And hold you in the palm of His hand” “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want” Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family funeral held and live streamed on Wednesday June 16th, 2021. A link will be posted at 1030 am to follow the service.
