Obituary of Doreen Elizabeth Smith

Smith, Doreen Elizabeth Dec 5 1947- October 18 2021 Passed away peacefully with her friends by her side, at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, on October 18th, 2021 at the age of 73. Doreen Smith of Ramara, beloved wife to her late husband, Marty. Predeceased by her parents, Emerson and Phyllis Smith, and her brothers Robert and Ken Smith. Survived and dearly missed by her sister, Lynne Smith “Smitty Sr”, of Winnipeg. Doreen had a heart of gold, a warm personality, and a great sense of humour. She had a love for a good meal and easy conversation with those closest to her. Doreen is sorely missed by her dog Sophie. Her closest friends Ashlee (Charlie), Terry, Ted, Michelle, Laura(her water girl), and her long time neighbours and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Mike Odlozinksi, and the staff in Oncology and Soldiers 1 at OSMH, for your kind and compassionate care. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or service at this time.
