Johnstone: Glen At the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Monday January 7th, 2013 in his 82nd year. Glen Johnstone of Orillia, formerly of Carley, beloved husband of the late Audrey Johnstone (nee Hill). Much loved father of Dale and his wife Sue (Steve, Brett, and Scott Oliver) of Orillia. Dear brother of Everett (Joan-predeceased) of Carley, Keith and his wife Gail of Hastings, Aldine Peachy (Jim- predeceased) and Lytle Johnstone (Hazel) both predeceased. Dear brother-in law of Lois Turner ( Jack-predeceased) of Orillia; and Bill Hill (Cathy) of Elliott Lake. Fondly remembered by dear friend Terry Wallace of Orillia and her daughter Nancy Hurley of Washago. Fondly remember by his Goddaughter Jody Smith (Kilby) of Sault Ste. Marie. Glen is also remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Glen was a former transport driver for Cooke Cartage and Storage and also with Muskoka Transport. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home- 38 James Street E. Orillia on Saturday January 12th from 12 noon until time of services in the chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Uhthoff Trail Maintenance c/o Twp. of Severn.
