Obituary of Beverly Joseph Hicks

Hicks Beverly” Bill” Joseph Devoted husband to Lillyann for 55 wonderful years. Son of Ambrose and Patricia Hicks of Uhthoff, Ontario. Bill was born a triplet with his sister, Ann and brother, Christopher (deceased). He was also a brother to Ronnie (deceased), Audrey Nichols (Harry) and Alice Beacock (Bob). Growing up in the country with his siblings was always a great adventure. He attended a one room public school where each grade was a single row of desks. He attended high school in Orillia and later joined the RCAF. During his time in the Air Force he travelled extensively and during those years he met and married Lillyann, the love of his life. After leaving the service he and Lillyann settled in St. Albert, Alberta, living there until his death. He leaves behind his wife Lillyann and her immediate family; sister, Bridget (Floyd); nephew, Braden Wollum; sisters, Ann, Audrey and Alice; a number of relatives and many friends and neighbors who feel extremely blessed to have had him in their lives. He will be remembered for his generosity, kindness and caring for others, his strong Christian faith and his sense of humor and wonderful smile. Heartfelt thank you to Dr. Lefebvre, the doctors and staff at the Cross Cancer and U of A for the extremely compassionate care they gave Bill.
