Obituary of Sprague Maurice Nurse

Nurse, Sprague Maurice Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Saturday February 19th , 2022 in his 92nd year. Loved husband of Linda Nurse (nee Proudfoot). Loved father of Donna, Wayne and Debbie. Dear Grandpa of Jessica, Justin, and Wayne Jr. great grandfather of Ashton, Presley, and Allison. Loved brother of Roy and Leslie and predeceased by Sophie, Eddie and Berkley. Sprague was born in St. John’s Newfoundland but raised up in Pool’s Cove. He loved fishing and hunting, and Sprague knew the Word of God and shared it willingly. He was a long-time greeter at Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle and loved his job. He had a silly sense of homor and was fun to be with. In his working days he was an executive with Canadian Pacific Railway and travelled across our great nation often. In keeping with his wish’s cremation has taken place.
