Beloved husband of Katie Koop (nee Durksen) for 65 years. Loving father of Robert Koop (Ruth Ann), Edward Koop (Ruth), Katherine Koop, Roseanne Beers (Dean) and Christine Goddard (late Darrell). Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. “Our father loved Jesus, his family, and farming”. Ed will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and many friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Thursday March 10th, 2022, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday March 11th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel followed by a reception.
