Mark and Peter LaMantia and I were the CTT in the Kinsmen Band. The Catholic Trombone Trio. Mark was smart funny and very talented. He was younger than me but I looked up to him literally and figuratively. A pleasure to be in his orbit.

I am very saddened to hear of Mark’s passing, my sincerest condolences to his family. I have great summer memories when we were neighbours in Lindsay, he on Mill St. and I on Ridout St. We spent lazy summer days swimming, delivering my papers and playing Risk. Although we went different directions in high school I hold those summer memories dear, Mark and I had a lot of fun.
RIP Mark

My condolences to the Nevins family. Mark was a big part of our lives in high school. I even still have a couple of pictures he drew for me. He was in the Band for the Ceremonial Guard in Ottawa for a summer during his high school years. Such a talented individual. Sharing a few pictures from that time. - Kelly Anne Robinson

Mark was part of our extended family during high school music adventure days --- always welcome; always "another one of our boys". Our condolances to his family and friends. Larry and Elaine Murphy

So sorry to hear this tragic news. To Mark's family, I knew Mark in high school as a spirited and exceptionally talented musician. As a band member and a friend we had a lot of fun together and I am saddened to hear of his passing. All my best. Mark was a good guy.

Mark, your light has dimmed here on earth, but shines bright in the heavens above, you will be missed by all who knew you, shared a laugh with you and worked alongside of you. Our hearts are a little more broken.
