Johnny loved hunting fishing gambling and family. We done a lot of ice fishing. Mostly in areas where we were alone he didn’t like crowed fishing places so we would go to places that were usually a chore to get there but once there we had so much fun. A couple of drinks and some of the worst singing no one want to hear. There wasn’t a lot of fish caught but we managed enough for our dinner. There was the one time when we fished in a crowded area and we were the last ones to come of the ice. We were almost ashore when one of my legs went through the ice . He laughed even I was not so much but with him it’s suck it up and move forward. We got to the car put our stuff away. With my one side being soaked and my foot getting cold he help me remove my boot and sock and gave me a wool mitten to put on my foot. We laughed all the way home because I was duck foot lol . He turned a negative into a positive. We went to the casino on sundays for brunch and of course slot machines. We were there so long that I felt I should have joined the work team for the day. He loved that I use to knit so much for him and I love knitting. He loved his family so much they were everything to him even when he seemed difficult. Our relationship failed but love never did. We stayed in contact . We had some good chats. He wanted me to get my hunting license so he can come to hunt with me. He could have come visit but I wasn’t getting my license. He was looking forward to the possibility of coming here as I was looking forward to him coming here. My heart is broken but I will keep my memories with me always. Sending much love to his family.
