Obituary of Bill Burke

Burke, William George “Bill” It is with broken hearts that we announce Bill’s passing at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Friday May 20th, 2022, at the age of 84. He was born in Orillia and predeceased by his parents Arthur and Rosina Burke. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Ciphery) for 63 years. Loving father of Arlene Willison (David), Brian Burke (Dorra), Judy Burke (Don). Proud grandfather of Lucy, Adam, Barbara Lynn-predeceased, Griffin, Payton, Jacob, and Jessica; Great grandfather of many. Beloved brother of Marilyn and predeceased by his siblings Harvey, Ivan, Shirley, Sylvia and Arlene. Bill will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by many family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at the Longford Mills Community Centre, 3854 Longford Mills Rd, Longford Mills on Saturday June 4th 2022 from 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E Orillia (705) 327-0221.
