This is such sad news, and I am so sorry for your loss.
I was one of Kyle’s instructors at Georgian College and I also supported him when he was completing his field placement. He was placed at a long-term care facility and found working with the elderly to be his passion. He would regale our class with warm and wonderful stories of his experiences at placement. He would bring his dog, Claude, to placement once a week to visit with the residents. He talked about the joy the residents received by Claude and his visits, especially those that were bedridden. He brought joy to the elderly residence and to our classroom.
He truly made a difference and will be sadly missed.

I was so sorry to hear of Kyle's passing. I am a professor at the Orillia campus of Georgian College and Kyle was in my online class in the winter of 2021. He was a diligent student and always so kind an soft spoken and interesting to talk to. My heartfelt condolences go out to this family. The world has lost a good one. R.I.P., Kyle. :(

My condolences to Kyle's family. I'm very sorry for your loss.
I remember when he first arrived in Orillia, he introduced himself and said how he was looking forward to his future here. He was so friendly and interested in conversing with his much older neighbour. He even offered to cut my grass!
