Obituary of Leonard John Eastcott

Eastcott, Leonard John Passed away peacefully at his residence after a courageous battle from Lung Cancer on Sunday June 5th, 2022, at the age of 65. Len was born in Orillia, predeceased by his parents Howard and Lila Eastcott. Dear son in law of Jon and Dorothy McMahon both predeceased. Beloved husband of Janine (nee McMahon) for over 42 years. Loving father of Tricia Horne (Jamie), Corey Eastcott (Tara). Proud grandfather of Danielle, Cameron, Riley and Jace; Len also leaves behind his former son in law Brad Horne (Trisha). Dear brother of Margaret Black- predeceased, Eileen Dunbar-predeceased, Alvin (Joan), Edith Williston (David - predeceased), Ruth Mitchell (Mike O’Connor), June Hill (Allan), Ernest (Barb), May Eastcott (Bill- predeceased), Verva Smith, Lloyd, Earl (Sheryll - predeceased), Bruce (Roxanne - predeceased (Sherry Scriver) and Kenneth - predeceased. Dear brother-in-law of Jackie, Jonny, and Joey. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The Eastcott family wish to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Justin Porter, Dr. Robert El-Maraghi, and the nursing staff at the Kawartha Lakes Community Care for all their compassionate care, and a very special thank you to Jacklyn Young. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Len’s life will be held at a later date.
