Condolences to the family. I first met Shirley when she reached out to volunteer for Orillia Special Olympics in our bowling program. She was a lovely lady who enjoyed helping our athletes. We will miss her.
Rest In Peace Shirley.

Sending my deepest condolences to Shirley's family. I knew Shirley through Girl Guides. She joined the Gravenhurst Guide unit in 2008 and 2009 with a small group of girls from Ryde Township. She was a lot of fun to work with and a great source of wisdom, energy and dedication. Her faith was a value that she embraced and gracefully expressed. She was a dedicated volunteer, helping with our Santa Luncheon, pitch in community clean ups, weekly meetings, camps, hikes, dressing up for Halloween and many other adventures we enjoyed with our unit. She often spoke with pride of her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed, but not forgotten.

My heartfelt sympathy to all the family. Shirley was a good friend since 1967 when we met in Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and we taught swimming together as well. I admired Shirley for her spirit, energy and kindness. She was athletic, spiritual and caring. I, for one, will miss her a lot and glad we had coffee/tea now and then at Tim Horton’s and kept in touch!

My condolences to Shirley's family. She will certainly be missed at Orillia Presbyterian Church (St. Andrew's). Shirley contributed in many areas at the church --- she played hand bells, sang in the choir, led fitness at the Senior's Centre, participated in the Martha group and the Ladies Auxiliary. Her enthusiasm and sincerity were commendable.
In sympathy,
Helen Doyle
