Gerry held a very special place in my heart. When I first met my husband I asked Gerry what is opinion was of him. He told me to " go for it" great advice we have been married 26 years now. Gerry and Jackie brought me a gift one time when I had strep throat. Glad he and Jackie are together again

My dog and I met Gerry at Champlain Manor where he would call Taffy and I would let the leash go and she would run to Gerry.They had a special bond. He would take her into the lobby and show the other residents tricks they would do! My condolences to the family. We really enjoyed knowing Gerry. May he Rest In Peace. Frank Scott

Thank you Frank for bringing your dog to share with the residents of Champlain Manor. Dad would often request we stop off at Zehrs and get special treats for Taffy. He loved that Taffy was so engaged with him. It made him feel very special. Both you and Taffy made Dad's stay at Champlain very special.

Dear Anna - Matt Lund related the sad news about your dad to us this aft at the Board Meeting. We are all feeling your loss. You were a dedicated daughter and I can see what a huge family he had and must have been so proud of. This is the best achievement anyone can say they had. To raise an upstanding community minded and ethical family. I am sure he was proud of you and all you do to care for your community. this is the best tribute. Thank you Linda, for such a lovely tribute. Many thanks to the Board of Rescue Lake Simcoe Coalition and the donation of a tree to be planted in memory of Gerry. Dad always knew that I was a tree hugger and this tribute is fitting, as he supported our endeavours.
