Sandra, Paul, Rick and Gaye…Sincere sympathy to all of you and your families. I have so many wonderful memories of Myrt. My favourite is of course her Friday baking day…always loved to taste her Chelsea Buns hot out of the oven! She thought I set an alarm so I knew when to arrive! Myrt was a strong woman who passed on this trait to her daughters! Myrt was also very clever…when Sandra and I tried to sneak a cigarette in her room ,when we were teenagers, with the windows open…Myrt called up to inform us that the wind from the open window was sending the smoke through the house..we were nabbed! Told us we weren’t too bright. She had a sense of humour and a sparkle in her eye! I am so thankful that I had a visit with Myrt last week and we were able to reminisce. Rest peacefully knowing you were well loved.
