Lynda could be a quiet and unassuming individual as seen to some. I had the honour of working with her in both 31 and 13 Division and came to know and respect Lynda as a competent, professional and dedicated person. I watched Lynda work with young people and demonstrate a commitment to her job and the law; but combined with a care and compassion for the people. It was a pleasure to know and work with Lynda and she touched individuals in quiet but meaningful ways. I hope that the friends and family can draw comfort in knowing how many people cared for her and about her. Glenn De Caire

When I was assigned to work with Lynda in the 31 Division Youth Bureau in October 2001 I was already aware that she was a fine police officer and had expertise in YB matters. I was not expecting that she and I would become such good friends. Lynda and I did some excellent work together and we had a ton of laughs as well. L.C had a knack of being able to laugh at herself. She was really dedicated to helping others. Lynda always put every single other person ahead of herself in that regard. She and I started every shift with a coffee. The last couple of days while having my morning java I have remembered her. Here's to you L.C.

Our paths crossed as I also was involved with Community Relations at 43 Division. Lynda was a Police Officer who would listen to me for ideas I may have had for our programmes and even offered suggestions for them. So sad to hear that she passed away at such a young age. She always had a smile and positive energy. She will be missed.

I have been retired for 3yrs and I have seen many notifications of members passing but today was the first time I saw someone that I knew. I was shocked and saddened to see Linda's photo.
I remember her well over my 31 yrs with TPS. She was always a friendly, supportive and helpful co worker who I enjoyed running into over the years. She was a very good police officer, always putting the public before herself. I'm really sorry that she has passed so young. I pray that she enjoyed the retirement years that she did have.

I came on with Lynda and had the pleasure of working with her in 31 and our paths crossed throughout our careers. Always had a smile and a story about her dad and her dog, the name escapes me, , maybe Blue? She was a lovely lady with a lovely soul. May she Rest In Peace and condolences to you & your family.

I was very sad to hear of Lynda's passing. I worked with her at 13 Division and she was just a joy to be around. Although a hard worker, she had an impish streak and made a quiet impression on all of our hearts. Thinking of all of you and keeping you in our prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Lynda's passing. I worked in the YB at 31 with her in the 90's. She was a very caring person and worked hard to serve her community. We always shared some laughs despite the kind of work we had to do. May she rest in peace.

I was so saddened to hear of Lynda's passing.
I first met Lynda over twenty years ago when were both in the same Mounted Unit training class. Learning to ride the police horses was quite the adventure and the experience left us with many lasting memories that we would chuckle about in later years. Our paths crossed again when Lynda came to 13 Division and we worked together in the Youth Bureau.
Lynda was a very conscientious and caring person. She had many wonderful qualities, but I think her capacity for kindness stood out the most. I feel lucky to have known Lynda.
My sincerest condolences to Lynda's family,
Barb Kohl
