Obituary of Marie Jeanne Landry

Landry, Marie “Jeanne” 1929-2022 It is with heavy hearts and gratitude for a life well-lived that the family of Marie “Jeanne” (Collette) Landry, loving wife of the late Joseph Laurie Landry, announce her passing at Spencer House in Orillia, ON, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. Born in Chauvin, AB on July 2, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Donalda (St. Pierre) Collette and a parishioner at Nativity of Our Lord Parish in Etobicoke and St Mary’s Parish in Collingwood. Jeanne is survived by her son Louis Landry (Valerie McLennan) of Orillia, ON; daughter Lise Wickens (Tim) of Guelph, ON; and cherished grandchildren, Trevor Wickens and Robert Wickens (Karli Woods), and great grandchild Wesley Wickens. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Helene Forstner (John), Theresa Collette and Lucy Paulmert (John Peter) and brother John Collette (Muriel). Jeanne’s family would like to extend special thanks of appreciation to the entire care team at Spencer House for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Jeanne. Your kindness will always be remembered. A funeral mass will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Parish on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 1:30 PM.
