Peter and I would often go chasing Geocaches in the area. I really enjoyed my times out with him and will always treasure the days we spent looking for caches. It was a shock to hear of his passing. My memories of Peter will always be ones of happy times outdoors. KSAcat aka Kevin Attenborough

Our sincere condolences to Lorraine, Sarah, and Michelle (Alex). I have known Peter and Lorraine for 40+ years. His love and devotion for Lorraine, Michelle, and Sarah was heart warming and steadfast through their years together. We are sending our love for the difficult time ahead as you come to grips with losing Peter. I was shocked and sad to learn of Peter's passing. It's been a few years since I've seen him. We became friends over the years we worked together at TRCA. We would chat and joke on lunch breaks in the cafeteria or passing each other in the office. I'll remember his laugh and his devotion to his family. He spoke with such pride of his girls. I would like to send my deepest condolences to Lorraine, Sarah, and Michelle on behalf of myself and my family. We have had the privilege of living 2 doors down from Peter and Lorraine for the past 19 years. Over that time, Peter became more than just a great neighbor, he became someone that I considered a great friend. Peter was very easy to talk to, and I felt that I could tell him anything without fear of being judged. We had countless conversations over the years, many of which took place next to a campfire in Collin, Kelly, and Connor's back yard. I was always amazed by Peter's vast range of knowledge. With Peter around, there was never a need to Google something, you just asked Peter, and he would always have the answer. On the rare occasion that he was stumped, he would spend his time researching whatever the question was, and would always get back to me. As a matter of fact, I credit Peter with helping to raise my kids, because I can recall numerous instances when my girls would ask me something, and my response was "Ask Peter. That guy knows everything." I keep glancing over into Peter and Lorraine's back yard, expecting to see Peter on the deck barbecuing or reading a book, or sitting on his stool in the backyard playing fetch with his best four legged friend Lynx, or on occasion, practicing his archery for the upcoming hunting season. He was an extremely good shot with his crossbow. Unfortunately though, he is not there. My family and I consider ourselves very lucky to have known Peter, and to have had him in our lives. I will never ever forget my good friend Peter, and all the things he taught me over the years. Thank you Peter, and rest in peace my friend.
