Obituary of Mike Reilly

Reilly, Gerald Michael “Mike” Mike Reilly passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday October 29th, 2022. He would have been 69 years old on November 2nd. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cathy, his beloved daughter Errin and son in law, Mark Dickins. He was the son of Edwin (Barney) and Florence Reilly. Dear brother of Loretta - predeceased (Renne Campbell), Ted- predeceased, Rose (Joe Lagace and the late Russ), Joe -predeceased, Pat (Gerrard McCarthy), Ken (Mary Louise), Bill, John (Kathy), Ed – predeceased (Donna), Sharon, Shelia -predeceased, Russell and Joyce. He will be greatly missed by his fountain - in -laws; Theresa (late Jim Sweet), Ron (Nancy Hopkins), Joe, Shawn and Ben. Mike had many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews that he loved very much and always enjoyed spending time with. Mike was an equipment operator and truck driver who worked for McCarthy Tile Drainage, Joe Naughton, Murray Taylor Haulage and Severn Township. Mike has fought a valiant battle over many years with numerous health issues. He is now without pain and at peace. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East, Orillia on Thursday November 3rd form 6:00-9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the OSPCA - Orillia or to the Mariposa House Hospice.
