Eplett, Barbara Jean

It is with broken hearts that the family announce Barb’s passing at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Sunday November 6th, 2022, at the age of 75. Barb was born in Victoria BC and predeceased by her parents Harry and Bertha King. Beloved wife of Albert Eplett for 46 years. Devoted and loving mother of Tara Higgerty (Michael), and Barry Eplett (Tara) and chosen daughter Linda Wiles. Proud grandmother of Arwen, Brooke, and Hunter. Dear sister of Terry (Connie), Ken (Michelle), Allan (Henny). Being reunited with her birth mother Lorraine Pigott (nee Reiher) and siblings Diane (Garfield), Don (Sheila), and Debra, was a gift that brought much joy to Barb. Barb will be missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

In keeping with Barb’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E. Orillia on Monday, November 14th, 2022, from 1pm until 3pm.
