Obituary of Debra Wilkie

Wilkie: Debra Anne Joan Peacefully at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie with her family by her side after a six year courageous battle with cancer on Thursday April 4th, 2013 in her 61st year. Beloved wife of Gerald Wilkie of Orillia. Dear daughter of Eileen Robertson and the late Vernon of Orillia. Loving mother of Laura Woodrow-Downard of Orillia and Lisa (Nicholas) Pokorny of Baden. Dear step mother of Matthew (Amber) Wilkie of Orillia and Kyle Wilkie of B.C. Devoted Marmie of Alexandria (Lexi), Jessica, Julia, Alekzandr and Marek. Sister of Michael Robertson (Wendy) of London and Lynda (Thomas) Bristow of Orillia. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street E. Orillia on Sunday April 7th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel Monday April 8th, at 1 p.m. Memorial donations please to Hospice Simcoe would be appreciated by the family.
