Obituary of Charles Albert Wallis

Wallis, Charles Albert Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Wednesday November 23rd, 2022, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Anne (nee Grigg) 2016. Loving father of Gordon Wallis, and Ellen Milburn (Ken Van Sickle). Proud grandfather of Tyler, Sara, and Nathan Wallis, Andrew and Stacee Milburn, and Ashley Van Sickle. Dear brother of the late Frances Armstrong (late Elburn), the late Isobel Sopher (Will), Ted Wallis (Doris), Leona Lepard (Norm), Dorothy Webber (Allan), Nelson Wallis (Merle), Annie Sturgeon (Ivan), Willie Wallis (Joyce), and Johnny Wallis (Velma). Charles will be dearly missed by his companion Squirt and lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family, and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Peter Daniel for his kindness over the years. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Tuesday November 29th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday November 30th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia.
