Bob was not only a great father to Shelley, Jodi and Lori he was a great dad to all of us. How many times did he pick our drunk asses up from wherever we were. I will never forget the firemens dances Bob driving a car full of us all home. A memory I will have forever. He was a wonderful man that will be greatly missed.

Dad,
I hope you are at peace now. No more pain and suffering.
I hope you know that I love you and miss you.
You taught me alot over the years.
The best was when you were teaching me to drive. Pulling into the driveway you were directing me to put my foot on the break. Well, because of you directing me or yelling at me..lol I stepped on the gas and rear ended Mom's van. In the long run what you taught me was how to hit a vehicle square so there is not damage...lol
Another memorable moment I have with you Dad was at Mr Reed's corn roast. Everyone was having a good time and a man had a medical event and you went to his aide because of being on the Fire Department.
You had been standing beside me eating a cob of corn when this event happened. To this day I wonder where the cob of corn went...
I love you and miss you and have many more memories to come...
Love you and miss you
Lori Ann

Very sad to hear of Bob's passing. I was lucky enough to have trained Bob and then work along side of him at Casino Rama. The laughs we had at the backdoor of that Casino were legendary!! The stories, OH MY! He was a great friend and a stellar fellow employee! RIP BOBBY Boy! Until I walk through that backdoor again ( and that is probably the only way I'll get in) PEACE my friend. GOD BLESS Ya. Save me a seat in Turtle Island.. ROBBIE RALPH #2029

The year was the winter of 1998. Wendy and I had just moved on to Big Chief Rd. I was on the front lawn trying trying to teach Wendy how to drive a snowmobile. After intense directions Wendy took off and within 10 seconds wrapped the snowmobile around a tree. Wendy was fine but the machine was not so good. No matter how hard I tried I could not dislodge it from the tree, Not knowing a sole I started walking down the street. Who do I run into but Robert. Needless to say Robert came to my rescue. Dislodged my snowmobile, repaired it and said...Welcome to Big Chief Rd. That was the first of many times he got me out of trouble. Very kind considerate man. May you rest in piece Robert.

Bob was a lovely man, and we all enjoyed working with him at Rama Plastics. He was always pleasant and helpful, and the customers loved him. My sympathies go to Linda and the girls, especially Shelley, a good friend of our family, and Cody. I saw him at the casino now and then, and always had a good chat about old times.

We found Uncle Bob late in life but were fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet, get to know and come to love him in the early 1990's.
He and Linda opened their lives to us all and welcomed us in as though we had all grown up together. Fortunately for us, his amazing daughters, Shelley, Jody and Lori also shared Uncle Bob's sincerity and charisma. They quickly came to feel more like sisters than cousins. His love for his family and his passion for the fire department was obvious from the moment we met him. His stories of his days at Casino Rama made him (and us) beam with pride. His personal warmth and outgoing personality made his friends feel like family and family feel like royalty.
We are extremely thankful for the many years of love and friendship we were gifted by having him in our lives.
He will be forever remembered and missed by all of us.
RIP, Uncle Bob.

When I started working at Casino Rama about 20 years ago, Bob taught me how to greet buses. I'll never forget just how many faces lit up when they saw Bob step on to their buses. The regulars loved Bob and his jokes, and our team loved Bob's energy and kindness.
