I just came across a photo of Gary and Lynne which caused me to look them up online. I am sad to see that they have both passed. We were neighbors on Guigues and enjoyed many potlucks together. We also used their condo when we had company in town. they were just the loveliest people. I have missed them over the years as we had lost touch at some point after we moved. I had often wished we could reconnect. So sorry to have not done so. Our condolences. Marc & Sarah Bercier

I have shared a love of genealogy with Gary and Lynne for many years on the Sir Guy Carleton executive. When I moved away from Ottawa they offered me the downtown apartment when I had meetings to attend. Gary was genealogist, membership chair, for many years despite not having a proven loyalist. He was much missed when his health problems became too much. Sylvia Powers

On behalf of myself and the Ottawa Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society, I wish to send my condolences to Gary's family. I have known Gary (and Lynne) for many years. He was always kind. He shared his genealogy knowledge freely and helped the local genealogy community with his many volunteer hours. I also loved hearing about his cats! I am sorry for your loss.
