I lived at 5 Argyle when the Bayley’s moved into #11. Jimmy and I became childhood friends. I remember Shaun was a PITA. Keith was such a cool guy. Who scuba dived in the 60’s.? Barb had a bird. I knocked over the cage once, broke some glass and was afraid to ever go back in the house.
There was a slant roofed shed in their back yard. Jimmy and I would climb on the roof and sit there for a long time. We started to bend off the corners of the shingles and have a completion on who could throw them the farthest. By the end of the summer the roof was bare and all the neighbours were trying to figure out why they had little, triangular shaped pieces of asphalt shingle in their back yards. The first big rain after that, and all of Keith’s stuff, stored in the shed got wet,. We soon learned the error of our ways. I could run home, I don’t think Jimmy was so lucky.
I haven’t thought about this in over 50 years. All my best to the Bayley family

My deepest condolences to Dillon, Shawn and Laurie.
I remember when we were young, when we used to always try to beat each other to ask about staying at Aunt Dolores and Uncle Milts. You’d stay one week and I’d stay the next. And lots of times we’d both be there together. We played cards all together with our cousins. You usually had a smile on your face. A good heart. You will be so missed.
I added A few pictures I’ve seen for years of moms of Jimmie as a baby, with his mom and cousin Cindy, and at Laura’s wedding with Uncle Gord, and Uncle Milt.
