Obituary of Bob Thornton

Thornton, Robert Edward (Former proprietor of Bob’s Discount Service) Peacefully, passed away at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Saturday May 6th, 2023, in his 78th year. Bob was born in Woodstock NB, predeceased by his parents Charles William and Iris Leah Thornton. Beloved husband of the late Dianne Thornton (2004). Loving father of Rob Thornton of Severn. Dear brother of Darlene Jackson (Stan), Deborah Grace (Bill), Helen Gibson (John), Leona Gill, Leona Gill (Keerton), Bertie Thornton, Terry Villemaire. Predeceased by Dianne’s parents Arthur and Josephine Wood and dearly missed by her siblings Gary Wood (Connie), Ronnie Wood, Steven (Jan- predeceased). Bob will be missed by his furry friends Boo Boo, Raiden, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. In keeping with Bob’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
