Obituary of Ron Shaw

Shaw, Ronald Harvey Peacefully, passed away surrounded by his loved ones in Orillia on Monday May 29th, 2023, at the age of 85. Ron was born in Orillia, predeceased by his parents Malcolm and Myrtle Shaw. Belove husband of Betty (nee Wallace) for 35 years. Proud father of Robert Shaw-predeceased, Karen Shaw (Billy-predeased), Laurie Mahoney (Paul), Kenneth Shaw (Tracey), Rhonda Shaw; stepfather of Wanda-Jane Peckham (David), Jeffery More, Crystala Ruhr (Michael), Sherry Lynn-predeceased (Doug Ziebeth), and Jason More (Beverley). Ron will be lovingly remembered by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear brother of Dorothy Speerin and Bill Shaw; predeceased by 10 siblings. Ron will be missed by many nieces, nephews’ family and friends. Visitation will be held on MondayJune 5th, 2023 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 12 noon Interment St. Andrew’s St James’ Cemetery.
